• Engineering knowledge: Apply the knowledge of mathematics, science, engineering fundamentals, and an engineering specialization to the solution of complex engineering problems
• Problem Analysis: Identify, formulate review research literature, and analyze complex engineering problems reaching substantiated conclusions using first principles of mathematics, natural sciences, and engineering sciences
• Design/Development of solutions: Design solutions for complex engineering problems and design system components or processes that meet specified needs with appropriate consideration for public health and safety , and cultural ,societal ,and environmental considerations.
• Conduct investigations of complex problems: Use research based knowledge and research methods including design of experiments, analysis and interpretation of data ,and synthesis of the information to provide valid conclusions.
• Modern tool usage : Create ,select ,and apply appropriate techniques, resources and modern engineering and IT tools including prediction and modelling to complex engineering activities with an understanding of the limitations.
• The engineering and society: Apply reasoning informed by the contextual knowledge to assess societal, health ,safety ,legal and cultural issues and consequent responsibilities relevant to the professional engineering practice.

B.Tech in Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning

The Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech) program in CSE(Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning ) equips students with a solid foundation in state-of-the-art computational techniques and intelligent systems. This interdisciplinary curriculum integrates principles from computer science, mathematics, and machine learning, offering in-depth knowledge of algorithm development, deep learning, natural language processing, and robotics.
Through hands-on projects and experiential learning, students gain expertise in designing intelligent systems, real-time data analysis, and optimization techniques. The program emphasizes ethical AI practices, innovation, and the societal impact of AI-driven technologies, preparing students for leadership roles in the rapidly evolving AI landscape.
Launched in 2024, this program is affiliated with APJ Abdul Kalam Technical University and leverages modern teaching methodologies to foster critical thinking, creativity, and adaptability. Graduates are well- equipped to meet the demands of industries embracing AI and ML, contributing to advancements in automation, healthcare, finance, and beyond.

MEA Engineering College actively participates as a local chapter in the National Programme on Technology Enhanced Learning (NPTEL), a key national coordinator for the Ministry of Human Resource Development's (MHRD) prestigious initiative, the Study Webs of Active Learning for Young Aspiring Minds (SWAYAM) programme. This initiative, a Massive Online Open Course (MOOC) initiative by the Indian academia, integrates all courses offered by NPTEL into SWAYAM.
Students and faculty from MEA Engineering College have access to comprehensive study materials for NPTEL courses. Additionally, they can register for both SWAYAM and NPTEL courses, benefiting from special advantages exclusive to local chapter candidates. Notably, several candidates from MEAEC have achieved 'Elite' certification, securing top ranks in certification exams for various courses.
To facilitate this engagement, NPTEL videos and materials are conveniently accessible at nptel.meaec.edu.in. Mr. Mohammed Ranees K T, an Assistant Professor in the Department of Mechanical Engineering, serves as the Convener and Single Point of Contact (SPOC) for NPTEL at MEA Engineering College.
