About Department
Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering in MEA engineering college is established in the year 2022 with UG program (B.Tech) under APJ Abdul Kalam Technological University with an intake of 30 students. Electrical and Computer Engineering is a new generation branch of engineering study in which a student can learn the core of electrical science and technologies with the aid of various computer applications in major role. It encompasses the design, development, and application of electrical systems, electronics, and computer technology. The branch enhances scope for the engineers to invent innovative and smart technologies, bring them into reality and hence can bring up solutions for variety of real world issues in the field of electrical engineering as well as computer science. The department is driven by a team of highly motivated, dedicated and experienced teachers supported by a strong team of lab technicians.The department has excellent infrastructural facilities including smart class rooms and well equipped laboratories.

- Engineering knowledge: Apply the knowledge of mathematics, science, engineering fundamentals and an engineering specialization to the solution of complex engineering problems.
- Problem analysis: Identify, formulate, review research literature, and analyze complex engineering problems reaching substantiated conclusions using first principles of mathematics, natural sciences, and engineering sciences.
- Design/development of solutions: Design solutions for complex engineering problems and design system components or processes that meet the specified needs with appropriate consideration for the public health and safety, and the cultural, societal, and environmental considerations.
- Conduct Investigations of complex problems: Use research-based knowledge and research methods including design of experiments, analysis, and interpretation of data, and synthesis of the information to provide valid conclusions.
