Prof. Haneesh Babu K T is currently the Vice- Principal and Associate Professor in Electrical and Electronics Engineering Department at MEA Engineering College, perinthalmanna, Kerala. He received his B.Tech degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Anjuman Engineering College, Bhatkal, Karnatak University, Karnataka in the year 1999, M.Tech degree in Power Electronics and Drives from NIT Calicut (2009) and Currently pursuing PhD in the area of Renewable Energy. He has worked in industries in India and abroad for a period of three years from 2000 to 2004. He joined MEA Engineering College, Perinthalmanna, Kerala on 2005 and served various academic and administrative positions since 20 years. He has been teaching Circuits and Networks, Power System I & II, Power Electronics, Electrical Measurements, and Electric Drives & control for undergraduate and Power Electronic Circuits I & II for post graduate students.

Apart from his research, the areas of interest include Smart-Grid and Power Electronics.
