The institution places a strong emphasis on maintaining classrooms that adhere to the infrastructure standards specified by the AICTE. This commitment is vital for creating an environment conducive to effective teaching and learning. To ensure that these standards are consistently met, Heads of Departments (HODs) play an active role in regularly submitting reports outlining repairs and maintenance requirements for classroom furniture and equipment to the administrative office. During semester breaks, these reported needs are collectively addressed to ensure that everything is in top condition for the upcoming semester.
In addition to classroom facilities, our laboratories are fully equipped with the necessary apparatus to support academic and research activities. Safety measures are of utmost importance. First aid kits and fire extinguishers are strategically placed for immediate access, and hazardous chemicals and concentrated acids are securely stored in lockers.
The computer labs are equipped with a sufficient number of computers that meet the required specifications and are housed in climate-controlled rooms. To maintain cybersecurity, we continuously update antivirus software. Regular maintenance and calibration of machines and computers are carried out by our dedicated support team in collaboration with lab instructors, ensuring everything is in optimal condition before the start of each academic year. We strictly adhere to preventive and breakdown maintenance procedures to maximize the availability of lab systems.
Furthermore, we actively evaluate the need for new equipment, replacement of older equipment, and software modernization. These decisions are made in consultation with HODs and the Principal, and proposals are forwarded to the management for procurement and maintenance as necessary. This proactive approach ensures that our institution remains at the forefront of technology and provides students with the best possible resources for their education and research endeavors.
