The Association of Dept. of Electrical & Computer engineering, MECA successfully conducted the Technical talk in “ Powering up with AI: intelligent solution for electrical challenges”  was given by Dr Alavikunhu Panthakkan (Active Research scientist in AI, University of Dubai ) on 8/8/2024 from 1.30 PM to 4.20PM at EEE Department seminar hall. Event was inaugurated by  Mr.Aashif M (HOD, EL) Ms. Swetha Subrahmanian (Faculty advisor-MECA) welcomed the gathering. The session included a lively Q&A session where participants raised questions and shared their perspectives. The program concluded with vote of thanks by Mr. Fardhil Abu(Chairman-MECA).

The Association of Dept. of Electrical & Computer Engineering, MECA and Association of Dept. of Electrical & Electronics Engineering IGMI in collaboration with Kerala State Electricity Board (KSEB) successfully conducted a Sub district level Quiz Competition on 26st September 2024 at EEE Department Seminar Hall . It was proved to be a successful initiative in promoting awareness and knowledge about the energy sector. Mr. Jithin Mohan K S, (Faculty advisor-IGMI) welcomed the gathering and the Event was inaugurated by Mr. Aashif M (HOD, EL). There after the Quiz competition was conducted by KSEB Assistant Engineers. Students from Various department participated in the program. Swalih from S5 EEE got the first prize, Mohammad Safwan from S7 EEE got the Second prize. The program concluded with of thanks by Mr. Mishab.

Electrical & Computer engineering, MECA in collaboration with IGMI(Association of Dept. of Electrical & Electronics engineering) organized an Inter College Quiz Competition and Circuit Designing Competition on 2nd November 2023 at depatment Seminar Hall and Workshop respectively. Event was inaugurated by Dr. Febina Beevi. P (HOD,EEE). Mr. Jithin Mohan K S, (Facullty advisor-IGMI) welcomed the gathering. There after the Quiz competition was conducted by Quiz master Mr. Muhammed Bava K H, (Assistant Professor-S&H), MEA Engineering College.

The inaugural ceremony of Electrical and Computer Engineering Association of MEA Engineering College (MECA) was held on 1st November 2023. In connection to that a technical talk on “Block chain & its application” was also organized. The event was organized in the department seminar hall, between 11.30a.m and 2:00p.m. The association name and its executive committee for the years 2023–2024 were also announced at the event.
